I was looking forward going back to Japan this fall, but due to some mishaps, I had to change my plans, to review my copy once again. I currently considered wiser to take some basics notions courses back to my home city, Paris, before to decide afterwards to go back on my beloved archipelago in the winter.

Conclusion: Shikata ga nai is momentarily suspended into its progression, relying certainly on the fact that I've to go back there first before to be allowed to proceed the rest. Which, is however, not the case for my Modern Viking Saga. For it looks like my Good Spirits want of me to finish it first, along any other hardships I still have to deal with here, before to move on for good with Anthony's story and the part of my life awaiting me back at the Land of the Kamis.

All my apologies to all of you I use to chat with on MSN to have been so quiet until now, but I truly didn't feel like talking, unless I knew where I was heading at next.

As far as mishaps are going, I'm not the only one facing any. So are Anthony and Amandine, for the ship taking us across the seas got attacked by the pirates of the Straight of Malacca, led by Terry, Anthony's past rival for Amandine's heart, whom kidnapped us both with Mélusine.

Terry's passably pissed off with me, I just knew it, for he merely didn't hesitate to menace the others there will be heavy consequences for I and the baby, if they were trying to follow us. I don't know how chapter 17 is going to turn out, guys, but Terry will probably regret to not have been as fair-play as Anthony has been with him previously. After all, Anthony remains the Child of the Dragons, and it has better not be taken lightly...
